Ear Reflexology

Ear Reflexology dates back to 4,000 years ago. It is a quick and non-invasive treatment, it’s origins are in acupuncture and reflexology. Pioneering work by Chinese doctors over the last 40 years has lead to the World Health Organisation authorising the standardisation of the 91 points on the ear in 1990.

A French practitioner in 1950’s introduced the idea of an inverted foetus shape. His theories were published in 1972 leading to auricular therapy that is practised today.

The ear has a very good blood and lymph supply, and treatments only take five minutes, which is why it is combined together with the facial reflexology treatment. It’s effects are similar to reflexology.
